Job summary

VMCH Sunshine is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly clinical team. You will work closely with RNs and provide day-to-day support to PCAs, encouraging skill development and confident resident care.

In this part-time role, you’ll contribute to high-quality aged-care services for residents, with a strong emphasis on dementia care, adherence to standards, and collaborative care planning in a supportive Not-for-Profit environment.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Enrolled Nurse Registration with relevant nursing qualifications.
• 2+ years’ experience as an Enrolled Nurse in clinical or aged-care settings, with dementia care experience.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Residential aged-care experience (desirable) and knowledge of Care Plans.
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC, OH&S and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with RNs and provide day-to-day support to PCAs.
• Encourage PCAs to develop skills and contribute confidently to resident care.
• Assist with assessments and contribute to Care Plans in collaboration with RNs.
• Support residents living with dementia and uphold quality standards.

The Position

What’s required

• Current AHPRA Enrolled Nurse Registration with relevant nursing qualifications.
• 2+ years’ experience as an Enrolled Nurse in clinical or aged‑care settings, with specific capability in supporting and caring for residents living with dementia.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Residential aged‑care experience (desired), including supporting RNs with assessments and contributing to Care Plans.
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, with knowledge of AN‑ACC processes, OH&S, food safety and relevant legislative requirements.
