St Patrick's College, Shorncliffe invites applications for an Assistant Head of Faculty - English. Based at Shorncliffe, QLD, this fixed-term, 12-month parental leave contract commences January 2027 and sits within the Middle Leadership Team.

The role focuses on coordinating curriculum, assessment, reporting and faculty operations to support high-quality teaching and student outcomes. As a valued leader, you will drive collaborative curriculum improvement, work with the Head of Faculty, and help

Qualifications

• Experience teaching English at secondary year levels.
• Demonstrated curriculum leadership or aspiration to develop as a Middle Leader.
• Expertise in curriculum planning, assessment and moderation practices.
• Strong organisational, time management and project coordination skills.
• Ability to lead initiatives and support faculty improvement priorities.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and team collaboration skills.
• Commitment to student-centred learning and educational excellence.
• Capacity to inspire and influence colleagues through servant leadership.
