Position Highlights

The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.

This full-time role is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 27 January 2026. The English - Coordinator 2 position is a 2-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent.

About You

As an English - Coordinator 2, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

  • create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
  • utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:

  • a tertiary qualification in Education
  • eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
