Job summary

Melbourne Stone Mason Group Pty Ltd, a Melbourne-based stone masonry company, specialises in luxury stone applications including marble, granite, Dekton and reconstituted stones. Our Hallam factory/showroom delivers in-house design, production and installation with advanced machinery and skilled personnel.

We seek a degree-qualified professional with CNC experience, a valid driver's license and a White Card to join our team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience operating CNC machines.
• Work as a team in the factory and construction sites.
• Current Driver's License.
• White Card.
• Flexible working on Saturdays (optional).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support to project managers and site measurers by identifying conflicts and recommending design modifications.
• Coordinate production workflows and optimise resource utilisation to meet timelines.
• Maintain data-driven daily production reports to track progress and quality.
• Coordinate timelines and workflows across teams to ensure complex stonework is executed on schedule.
• Review design variations for feasibility and safety against specs and estimate materials.
• Coordinate site assessments and logistics for materials to meet exact specs and readiness.
• Lead weekly/monthly stakeholder reviews to report status and resolve issues.
• Utilise AutoCAD and other design software to interpret drawings and produce documentation.

Utilised advanced engineering software (AutoCAD, Pegasus, MARS, NC Studio) to interpret engineering drawings and structural specifications, producing precise manufacturing and installation documentation in compliance with Australian Standards and project tolerances.
