Job summary

Zero Carbon Systems is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the mechanical engineering team in building, modifying, and troubleshooting test rigs and prototype equipment for our Direct Air Capture technology. You will turn drawings into working hardware, assemble instrumented pneumatic and hydraulic test rigs, fabricate custom parts, and help run tests that validate new designs.

This hands-on role requires comfort moving between a fabrication bench, a 3D printer, and a live test rig,

Zero Carbon Systems seeks an Engineering Technician to support the mechanical engineering team in building, modifying, and troubleshooting the test rigs and prototype equipment behind our Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. Working side by side with our senior mechanical engineers, you will turn drawings and models into working hardware — assembling instrumented pneumatic and hydraulic test rigs, fabricating custom parts, and helping run the tests that validate new designs.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable moving between a fabrication bench, a 3d printer, and a live test rig in the same day, and who takes pride in clean, leak-tight, well-documented work. As a startup, we are looking for a flexible team member who can shift priorities quickly and contribute wherever the build schedule needs them. This is a full-time, on-site position on a standard day shift based in Brighton, CO, reporting to the Director of Mechanical Engineering.
