Job summary

Fortescue’s Hedland Operations in Port Hedland are seeking an Engineering Project Planner with a strong project controls capability to support the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of fixed plant upgrades, control systems, rail and other capital works.

You will engage with multiple teams to plan multi-year works across Anderson Point and Rail, coordinate multi-discipline capital projects, and liaise with Project Managers to ensure timeframes and budgets are achieved.

Qualifications

• SAP knowledge, with more than two years’ experience
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting or accounting
• Extensive and proven Microsoft Excel experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong leadership, communication and cost tracking skills

Responsibilities

• Engage with multiple teams to plan multi-year works across Anderson Point and Rail
• Plan and coordinate multiple discipline capital projects
• Liaise with Project Managers to ensure project timeframes and budgets are achieved
• Support budget development, cost control and monthly and quarterly forecasting
• Assist stakeholders with Project Framework and DCRM requirements, ensuring compliance
• Undertake detailed scoping activities with subject matter experts to support accurate planning, cost tracking and reporting
