Cubic Defense in Townsville seeks an experienced engineering leader to manage the CTC-LIS program. You will oversee engineering, technical, and project management teams, drive the technology roadmap, and coordinate international technical engagement to deliver innovative training solutions.

With a strong background in program management and defense procurement, you will mentor staff, manage performance, and align technical outcomes with business goals while fostering safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum twelve years of related technical or engineering experience with ten years in project engineering/management.
• Experience with Commonwealth procurement processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop technology roadmaps.
• Strong analysis, design and improvement of engineering processes.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, cost and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Leads the CTC-LIS engineering, technical team, Project Managers and deep maintenance team to deliver technical solutions for the Program.
• Actively contributes to management activities to ensure optimum results for the Program.
• Liaise with other Cubic engineering centres to ensure cohesion with CTC-LIS efforts.
• Develop obsolescence plan for CTC-LIS based on inputs from CDNZ.
• Mentor teams and provide performance feedback and coaching.
• Lead efforts to secure best customer solutions across proposals, roadmaps and projects.
• Support business development with technology road mapping and product management.
• Lead strategic technical relationships and drive innovation within CDAus and CTC-LIS.
