Job summary

01.tech is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of engineers in a flexible, autonomous environment. You will drive recruitment, onboard new hires, establish coding standards, and manage delivery with product partners.

You will champion modern engineering practices, manage technical debt, and contribute to R&D strategy while supporting remote or office work arrangements and relocation opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience including at least 3 years of commercial software development with Node.js, Go, JVM-based technologies, or fullstack development
• 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Engineering Manager
• Proven experience leading engineering teams, developing talent, and resolving conflicts
• Strong technical foundation in CI/CD, code reviews, technical debt management, and software engineering best practices
• Experience managing delivery, including resource planning, timelines, and collaboration with Project Managers and Product Owners
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment across teams and functions
• Strategic thinking and experience improving and scaling engineering processes
• Active use of AI-powered tools in day-to-day engineering workflows
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, tools, and ways of working
