Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for the Internet Edge Services team in Australia. You will lead a software development team building and operating Catographer, the intelligent control plane for Amazon's software-defined network at the internet edge, enabling scalable and reliable traffic management across AWS global border networks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

• Lead an established high performing team to identify opportunities and deliver software defined traffic engineering solutions for AWS's internet edge networks leveraging your software background.
• Collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing indistinguishable from perfect global network at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
