Job summary

UGL, partnered with CPB Contractors, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering delivery for Australia’s next generation of hyperscale data centres. You’ll drive design through construction, commissioning and operational readiness on complex, high-value projects.

You will oversee engineering governance, safety in design and quality outcomes while mentoring teams and coordinating with stakeholders across engineering, construction and commissioning disciplines.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering delivery on large data-centric infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of design and construct project delivery models.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery across major data centre and mission-critical infrastructure projects.
• Drive multidisciplinary coordination across mechanical, electrical, controls and specialist systems.
• Ensure engineering solutions support constructability, commissioning and operational requirements.
• Manage engineering scope, programme, technical risk and change management processes.
• Provide technical leadership to internal engineering teams, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Champion engineering governance, safety in design and quality assurance outcomes.
• Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams while fostering collaboration and innovation.
