Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering delivery for Australia's hyperscale data centre program, from design through commissioning and readiness.

You will work with project leadership, consultants and clients to ensure engineering excellence, program certainty and successful delivery on complex mission‑critical environments. A degree in engineering and proven experience leading data‑centre projects are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering required.
• Experience leading engineering delivery on data centres or major infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of design and construct project delivery models.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and consultants.

As Engineering Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering delivery across major data centre projects from early design development through construction, commissioning and operational readiness. Working closely with project leadership teams, consultants, construction managers and client stakeholders, you will ensure engineering excellence, program certainty and successful project delivery across highly complex mission‑critical environments.

You will bring:

• Experience leading engineering delivery on data centres, building services, mission‑critical facilities or major infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of Design & Construct project delivery models
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and consultants
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• A collaborative leadership style and commitment to safety, quality and engineering excellence
• Experience supporting construction, commissioning and operational readiness activities will be highly regarded
