Job summary

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of database architecture and relational systems across technologies.
• Track record managing large-scale infrastructure projects or major tech transformations.
• Experience coaching engineers to adopt new technologies and ways of working.
• Ability to build relationships across technical and non-technical teams and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI database administrator platform to embed knowledge and automate incident response.
• Lead global migrations to cloud-managed services (e.g., RDS) with product teams.
• Modernise databases from SQL Server to Aurora Postgres through AWS collaboration.
• Establish operational and cultural foundations for proactive database architecture and performance.
