DT Infrastructure is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the design delivery for a major utility‑scale solar farm integrated with an AC Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Based mainly in North Sydney, you will drive the engineering lifecycle from concept at 30% through IFC, ensuring robust, constructable designs aligned with project schedules and commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Proven track record of managing complex engineering designs from 30%/FEED through IFC.
• Extensive experience delivering utility‑scale solar and BESS projects.
• Deep expertise in electrical systems, HV infrastructure and power systems in renewables.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design from 30% maturity through IFC for AC BESS and solar farm.
• Provide rigorous technical oversight focusing on electrical components, grid connection, substations, power conversion, battery integration.
• Coordinate external design consultancies and OEMs to meet quality, safety and compliance standards.
• Serve as primary technical interface between design consultants, project management, procurement and on-site teams.
• Facilitate design reviews, SiD workshops and value engineering initiatives.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with national standards, grid codes and local utility requirements.
