Job summary

Cook Medical Inc. is offering a 2026-2027 Summer Internship in Engineering at our Eight-Mile Plains facility.

The program provides paid experience across Post Market Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering – Sustaining and Manufacturing Engineering – Continuous Improvement, with mentoring from experienced engineers. The internship targets engineering undergraduates in their third year, offering 38 hours per week for 13 weeks between 23 November 2026 and 19 February 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be an Engineering undergraduate student completing at least third year studies.
• Available for 13 weeks between 23 November 2026 to 19 February 2027 (subject to university dates).
• Able to commit to 38 hours per week.
• Able to attend work at our Eight-Mile Plains facility.
• Must have clear written and verbal English comprehension and communication skills.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Take direction and follow instructions.
• Take pride in your work with a focus on quality.
• Have a responsible and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

We have three opportunities in our Engineering teams within Post Market Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering – Sustaining and Manufacturing Engineering – Continuous Improvement.
