Job summary

ENGEO Australia is seeking an enthusiastic Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer to support a wide range of geotechnical and engineering geology projects across Queensland. You’ll work with experienced engineers and geologists on site investigations, reporting, and project support.

Early in your career, you’ll develop field skills, logging, and technical communication while learning how projects are scoped, programmed, and budgeted.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years’ relevant experience
• A degree in engineering geology, earth science, civil engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A collaborative approach and a curious mindset
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset and a willingness to get stuck in
• An interest in engineering and/or project management
• The drive to grow in your career

Responsibilities

Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer

ENGEO Australia is growing, our team is humming, and we’re gearing up for an exciting rest of the year and beyond! We have stacks of interesting work in the pipeline, and we’re looking for an eager geologist or geotechnical engineer to help keep things moving.

The job.

In this role, you will support the delivery of a wide range of geotechnical and engineering geology projects across Queensland. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and geologists, building your technical skills through site work, reporting, and project support. You'll work with our excellent team as well as clients & contractors, across a bunch of interesting ground engineering challenges.

What will you be doing?

Who are you?

We’re looking for someone early in their career who is keen to learn and enjoys being out in the field - working with contractors & drillers but also carrying out manual site investigations.

You could be an engineering geologist or a geotechnical engineer, but you’ll definitely be proactive, curious, and keen to get stuck in.
