WeBuild is seeking a Site Engineer for the Snowy 2.0 project in the Snowy Mountains, NSW. You will inspect equipment, direct crews, and ensure engineering designs are followed while solving on-site problems.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering and White Card. Experience with TBMs and large-scale construction is preferred; strong communication and time-management skills are essential.
The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.
Site engineer purpose includes inspecting and installing equipment and new technologies, directing crews or workers on site, conducting research, and reporting on project status. Site engineers will make sure that everything works smoothly, and engineering designs are being followed. Inspect infrastructure and conduct research on site in order to solve problems.
