Job summary

Origin Energy Services Ltd is seeking an Engineer – OT Cyber Security to secure the OT environments that support Origin's critical energy infrastructure. You will design and implement secure solutions across OT, Windows Server and Active Directory, collaborating with cyber security, OT engineering and infrastructure teams.

You will strengthen identity and access controls, contribute to audits and regulatory compliance, and help uplift Origin's OT security capability to ensure resilience,

Qualifications

• Experience securing OT, ICS or critical infrastructure environments.
• Expertise in Windows Server, AD, Group Policy and identity and access management.
• Knowledge of RBAC and least-privilege principles and privileged account management.
• Familiarity with OT cyber security frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST or Essential Eight.

About the role

As an Engineer – OT Cyber Security, you'll help secure the Operational Technology (OT) environments that support Origin's critical energy infrastructure. Working closely with cyber security, infrastructure and OT engineering teams, you'll design, implement and continuously improve secure solutions that keep our operational systems resilient, compliant and available.

What you'll bring

• Demonstrated experience securing Operational Technology, industrial control systems or critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and identity and access management.
• Experience implementing role-based access, least-privilege principles and privileged account management.
• Knowledge of OT cyber security frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST or Essential Eight.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering and operational teams to deliver practical security outcomes.
