Job summary

Urban Utilities is seeking a motivated Engineer to join the Infrastructure Interventions team to verify high-value and complex work requests, ensuring prudent decisions within risk, performance and cost frameworks. This role supports the safe, reliable delivery of water services across South East Queensland.

You will have a Bachelor of Engineering with 3+ years of experience (electrical engineering desirable) and a strong interest in asset management, lifecycle reliability and risk-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering with 3+ years experience.
• Electrical engineering experience desirable.
• Strong interest in asset management and lifecycle reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assess and verify high-value, complex maintenance and minor capital requests.
• Ensure requests meet standards and governance.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure cost-effective outcomes.
• Prepare information for governance and trade-off decisions.
• Monitor incoming high-value requests.
• Collaborate to optimise asset reliability and whole-of-life costs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of intervention and asset management practices.
