Job summary

ADP Consulting in Sydney is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join our Building Services team. You will contribute to delivering fire safety solutions across diverse sectors, working with a supportive team and directly interfacing with clients, architects and builders.

You will receive mentoring, growth opportunities and chartership support as you progress, in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that values innovation and sustainable design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Master's in Fire Safety Engineering preferred or currently enrolled.
• 2–5 years of fire safety engineering experience in Australia.
• Strong report writing, communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of fire safety engineering solutions across diverse sectors.
• Produce high-quality reports and calculations for design reviews.

We are growing our Building Services team and looking for an experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join us in Sydney. What is your role?

You’ll contribute to the delivery of fire safety engineering solutions across a broad range of sectors, working closely with a supportive and experienced team. From producing high-quality reports and calculations to attending design meetings and liaising directly with clients, architects and builders, you’ll have real ownership of your day-to-day project tasks and delivery timelines.

You’ll receive mentoring and support from senior engineers as you develop your skills, with growing independence across project tasks. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to build your career in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

• You bring a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's in Fire Safety Engineering, or are currently enrolled.
• You have 2 to 5 years of experience in fire safety engineering in Australia.
• You have a solid working knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, IFEG and AFEG.
• You have strong report writing, communication and collaboration skills.
