Job summary

St Agnes Catholic High School Rooty Hill is seeking a Science Teacher for the 2027 school year. This temporary part-time role (0.4 FTE) starts January 2027 and involves delivering contemporary Science lessons to Years 7–12 in a welcoming Catholic environment.

The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education, possess NESA accreditation or eligibility, and demonstrate strong knowledge of the Science curriculum along with inclusive teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Hold recognised tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.
• Hold current NESA accreditation or be eligible to obtain accreditation.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and contemporary teaching practices.
• Be able to deliver engaging practical and theory-based Science lessons.
• Cater effectively for students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
