Job summary

YMCA Woodcrest Outside School Hours Care is recruiting energetic Educators on a casual basis to supervise before and after school and vacation care for primary-aged children. You’ll help create a safe, inclusive environment with a mix of structured and play-based activities that support children’s wellbeing and social learning.

Hold or study towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or similar), have current First Aid and CPR, and a Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or similar).
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with a variety of hands-on activities during Vacation Care
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe and inspired to grow
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play
