MGGS is seeking a fixed term Humanities teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated History and Geography lessons for years 7–11, with a focus on Middle Years Geography where possible. The role runs from Term 1 2027 to Term 4 2027 and involves collaboration across the Humanities Faculty to promote excellence in learning outcomes.

You will apply student-centred teaching strategies, utilise digital tools to engage diverse learners, and uphold MGGS's child-safety commitments across all school

Formación

• Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of curriculum requirements and best-practice teaching strategies.
• Be skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students and colleagues.
• Be enthusiastic about introducing innovative, student-centred teaching methods that inspire and engage.
• Demonstrate a collaborative and creative mindset, committed to enhancing learning programs and student outcomes.
