Job summary

Camp Australia is seeking an enthusiastic Outside School Hours Care Educator to join our Bendigo team. You will help run before school, after school and holiday programs for primary-aged children, creating engaging activities and a safe environment within the school community.

You will be supported to develop professionally, with access to subsidised Diploma study pathways, onboarding and ongoing training, and above-award hourly rates. Availability weekdays mornings and afternoons is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to engage children and build relationships.
• Diploma in childcare or equivalent or currently studying.
• Working with Children Check/Blue Card/Ochre Card or willingness to obtain.
• National Child Safety Training or willingness to obtain.
• Child Protection Early Childhood Learning Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis/Asthma certificates or willingness to obtain.
• Availability 6:30 am–9:00 am and 2:30 pm–6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an engaging, safe and compliant program for primary-aged children.
• Take part in daily activities and support learning and development.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks and build strong relationships with children, families and schools.
