Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC in Melbourne is seeking a Sergeant to lead sheriff's officers and oversee enforcement of court warrants. The role is field-based with rostered shifts, possible weekend work, overtime and overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV Court Operations (Compliance) required.
• Current Victorian driver licence required.
• Current bailiff appointment from the Sheriff of Victoria required.
• Experience in Victorian sheriff's operations preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to support an inclusive team.

Responsabilités

• Lead sheriff's officers and oversee enforcement of court warrants.
• Work mainly in the field with rostered shifts, weekends, overtime and overnight travel.
• Plan daily work and field operations with other agencies.
• Handle complex warrants including payments, seizures and arrests.
• Maintain accurate records and improve work processes.
