Job summary

APD Global is hiring a junior project coordinator to join our Transmission team in Perth CBD. You will provide essential project and administrative support, helping plan and schedule tasks, maintain documentation, and monitor progress as the team grows.

The role suits someone with graduate to mid-level project management experience looking to develop within an engineering environment, based in our Perth office with opportunities to contribute across power and energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in business administration, management or relevant discipline.
• 1-2 years prior experience in power or energy sectors (beneficial).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Robust communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
• Professionalism in handling confidential documentation and estimates.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in a project support role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide project and administrative support to the project team and department leaders.
• Support planning and scheduling project tasks, milestones and deadlines as well as the cost
• Create and maintain project documentation including contracts, variations orders, internal and external correspondence & technical documentation.
• Ensure all project related documentation is organised, easily accessible and up to date.
• Monitor project progress and report key metrics to the project team and department leaders.
• Take an active role in the continuous improvement and innovation of project administration systems and processes.
• Assist with other ad hoc tasks as required for successful delivery of the project.
