Job summary

AGL is seeking an Energy Solutions Commercial Analyst for a 12-month max-term opportunity. You’ll support decarbonisation solution development for business customers through financial, commercial and energy market modelling, covering solar, batteries, electrification, EV charging and virtual power plants.

About the role

Energy Solutions Commercial Analyst - 12 Month Max term opportunity

As a Commercial Analyst, you'll support the development of innovative decarbonisation solutions for AGL's business customers through financial, commercial and energy market modelling. Working across solutions including solar, batteries, electrification, EV charging and virtual power plants, you'll provide commercial insights, build business cases and help optimise project performance. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical problem-solver passionate about the energy transition and delivering meaningful outcomes for Australian businesses.

What you’ll be doing:

What you’ll bring:

• Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Tenured experience across solar, battery storage and Australian energy markets.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data insights.
• Commercially minded with a passion for sustainable energy and the energy transition.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
