Austin Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Endoscopy Suites, delivering high-volume, patient-centred care across endoscopy specialties in Melbourne.

You will provide visible clinical leadership, manage staffing and budgets, and drive quality and safety initiatives while fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement. Fixed-term, full-time parental leave cover until Feb 2028.

Formación

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Significant perioperative, day surgery, endoscopy or procedural nursing experience.
• Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Nursing, Management or related field (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Provide visible clinical and professional nursing leadership.
• Lead and support a team of nursing and support staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Manage staffing, recruitment, rostering, performance development and workforce planning.
• Drive quality, safety and service improvement initiatives.
• Oversee unit budgets and resource management.
• Promote a culture of learning, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and organisational policies.
