Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse for the Endoscopy Unit at Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital. You will provide specialist Gastroenterology and Endoscopy care across diagnostic and therapeutic services, coordinating complex patient needs and leading quality improvement initiatives.

You will be a Registered Nurse with NMBA registration, possess advanced Endoscopy skills, and demonstrate clinical leadership, collaboration and commitment to education and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in a clinical Endoscopy role with Gastroenterology knowledge.
• Advanced clinical knowledge in Endoscopy nursing and patient management.
• Leadership, collaboration and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical assessment, care planning and coordination for Endoscopy patients.
• Lead and mentor the nursing team, exercising clinical decision‑making and delegation.
• Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, audits and compliance with standards.
• Promote evidence‑based practice and drive service improvements and patient safety.
