Job summary

Currumbin Clinic on the Southern Gold Coast is seeking motivated Enrolled Nurses for full-time or part-time roles. You will provide specialised mental health nursing care, perform comprehensive assessments, and work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Candidates must be registered with AHPRA and have a minimum of three years’ mental health experience. Desirable tertiary mental health qualifications are noted, with pre-employment screening and compliance

Qualifications

Job description

We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Enrolled Nurses at Currumbin Clinic. Full-time/Part-time positions available.

About Currumbin Clinic:

Currumbin Clinic is a 104-bed private mental health hospital located on the Southern Gold Coast, delivering high quality care and positive patient outcomes. We have a team of dedicated Psychiatrists, Medical, Nursing, Allied and Administrative staff who provide expert care in the management and treatment of all acute mental health disorders.

Qualifications:

Registration with Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (Mandatory);

Completion of or working towards tertiary qualifications specific to mental health (Desirable)

Required Personal Competencies:

Minimum three (3) years mental health experience.

Awareness and practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care.

Strong focus on patient centred, evidence-based nursing care.

Able to conduct a comprehensive and systematic nursing assessment.

Demonstrated high standards of professional and ethical practice.

Excellent collaboration and consultation skills with individuals, groups, significant others and the multidisciplinary health care team.

Focus on service improvement and ongoing professional development for delivery of excellent patient care and positive health outcomes.

Promotes safety, security and personal integrity in the work place.

Experience and an understanding of alcohol and other drugs detoxification principles.

Pre-Employment Screening:

You will also be required to provide current serology for vaccinations/immunisation history including Hep B, Dtpa, MMR and varicella.

A current police check (dated within the last three months)
