Job summary

Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join the aged care team at Blacktown Hospital. You will provide person-centred nursing care to older patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, in a multidisciplinary environment focused on dignity and quality care.

You will work 38 hours per week on a temporary full-time contract (up to 24 Oct 2027), with registration required by AHPRA and demonstrated recent clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Current Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience relevant to the position.
• Ability to prioritise and organise workload within Enrolled Nurse scope.
• Good communication with the multidisciplinary health care team.

Remuneration: $37.83 - $41.10 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you'll provide high-quality nursing care under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse. You'll use your clinical knowledge, communication skills and person-centred approach to support positive outcomes for patients.

Essential Criteria

• Registration: Current Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

• Demonstrated recent clinical experience relevant to the position
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse
• Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
• An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
