Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health is seeking an Advanced Trainee Endocrinology to join our Medical Services team in a full-time fixed-term role until February 2028, delivering endocrinology services across inpatient and outpatient settings under consultant supervision.

You will undertake accredited advanced training toward Fellowship in Endocrinology, participate in Diabetes, General Endocrinology, Antenatal Endocrinology and High-Risk Foot clinics, and supervise junior medical staff and students while

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent completed with current AHPRA registration.
• RACP Advanced Trainee status and progression towards Fellowship.
• Demonstrated clinical competence and commitment to safe, high-quality patient care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultative endocrinology services across inpatient and outpatient settings under consultant supervision.
• Coordinate and interpret dynamic testing and investigations with senior staff.
• Attend and contribute to specialist outpatient clinics including Diabetes and High-Risk Foot services.
• Provide supervision and education to junior trainees, HMOs, and medical students.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and timely escalation.
• Participate in General Medicine weekend roster and support medical services.
