St Jude's Health Care Group in Bunbury is seeking a Disability Support Worker to assist clients within the NDIS funding framework, helping them achieve goals and increase independence and participation in the community. You will provide support to people with disability and/or psychosocial needs, enabling daily living and promoting positive behaviours and skill development.

Qualifikationen

• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required for the role.
• Proof of working rights – Passport or visa.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
• Working With Children Check issued in Western Australia.
• Previous experience as a support worker or a relevant Cert III is desirable but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Taking clients out for social outings and activities, shopping trips or GP/specialist appointments.
• Servicing clients at their homes with activities of daily living such as toileting, showering and dressing.
• Light domestic duties and meal preparation/eating assistance.
• Liaising with families and representatives of clients as required.
