Job summary

The Y Canberra Region in Strathnairn/ELC is seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator to join Strathnairn ELC in Belconnen. You will help deliver high-quality early childhood education in a safe, inclusive environment.

Working with the Lead Educator and families, you will plan, implement and evaluate programs aligned with EYLF, NQF and NQS, supervise children and promote wellbeing. This is a full-time role requiring commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF and NQS.
• Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating early childhood programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate educational programs aligned with EYLF, NQF and NQS.
• Actively supervise children and foster relationships with families and colleagues.
• Contribute to children's learning through meaningful documentation and reflection.
• Provide leadership in the absence of the Lead Educator to ensure continuity of care.
