Sydney Local Health District is hiring a Registered Nurse for Community Mental Health Services based in Camperdown, NSW. The role supports recovery-focused care in the community, with temporary full-time or part-time options (minimum 24 hours per week) through January 2028.

Salary ranges from $41.22 to $57.88 per hour plus superannuation. Ideal candidates hold recognised nursing qualifications and current AHPRA registration, with strong mental health practice competencies and a valid NSW

Formación

• Tertiary nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in community/mental health nursing or similar settings.
• Understanding of recovery‑oriented service delivery and consumer involvement.

Responsabilidades

• Provide mental health assessments and determine appropriate care pathways in the community.
• Deliver short-term mental health interventions and support continuity of care from community to hospital.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate care and outreach in the community.
• Assist with access to inpatient care when required and facilitate follow-up after admission.
• Ensure patient safety, dignity and recovery-focused planning in all interactions.
