Qualifications

• 2-4 years PAE as an employment law practitioner.
• Admitted to practice in Australia with full working rights.
• Strong drafting skills and eye for detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Client-facing with relationship-building focus.
• Experience with restraint of trade, discrimination, unfair dismissal, and industrial disputes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, technically accurate legal advice to clients.
• Advise on and manage matters including restraint of trade, wrongful termination, discrimination, unfair dismissal, general protections and industrial disputes
• Draft workplace policies, employment contracts, enterprise agreements and other employment documentation
• Prepare and amend written advice and correspondence for clients
• Conduct legal research and support partners on complex matters
• Contribute to business development as your profile grows
