Job summary

Real Futures is recruiting an Employment Consultant (OGS/PPS) to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through sustainable employment. You will provide case management for aspirants, build meaningful employer relationships, mentor participants, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance across ongoing and post-placement support programs.

You will work with JobReady Live and JobAccess, maintain detailed records, and uphold safety and policy standards while supporting

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for aspirants receiving Ongoing Support and Post Placement Support services.

• Refer, book, and complete Ongoing Support Assessments.
• Collect and record evidence for employment outcomes.
• Utilise JobAccess and the Supported Wage System.
• Prepare and submit documentation for outcomes.
• Maintain detailed case notes in Job Ready Live.
• Ensure compliance with WHS and organisational policies.

What will you be doing?

• Provide case management for aspirants receiving Ongoing Support and Post Placement Support services
• Build and maintain positive relationships with employers
• Maintain regular contact with aspirants, offering mentoring, motivation, and guidance
• Refer, book, and complete Ongoing Support Assessments with assigned assessors
• Collect and record all required evidence to support and process employment outcomes
• Utilise JobAccess and the Supported Wage System
• Prepare and submit accurate documentation for Ongoing and Post Placement Support outcomes
• Maintain detailed and compliant case notes in Job Ready Live
• Ensure all activities comply with IEA Agreement, WHS, and organisational policies and procedures

• Someone who as the ability to overcome objections and break down employment barriers that exist for people
• Ability to deliver efficient and effective strategies to positively engage with employers and build sustainable relationships
• Awareness of vulnerabilities and the positive effects of employment
• Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• An understanding or ability to learn how to work with potential employers to source employment
• Well-developed problem-solving skills

To be considered:

• Have full working rights in Australia
• Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
• Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
• Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
• Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
