As an Employment Consultant, you will support your caseload of participants to take ownership of their journey to work. You will build relationships, identify opportunities, and actively connect participants with employers.
You will partner with people with a disability to understand their goals, build their confidence and skills, and actively connect them with employers. Success in this role comes from your ability to engage people, stay organised, and keep momentum especially when things get challenging.
You don’t need direct industry experience, but you do need to be curious, proactive, and willing to learn quickly. We’re looking for people who come prepared, take initiative, and back themselves to build strong relationships in the community.
Sureway leads the industry in Employment Services for cohorts including mainstream, people with disability, parents, youth and mature aged Australians. We also deliver training and health supports to enable people to improve their quality of life. This position requires the successful applicant to undertake a National Police Check and relevant state-based screens. Applicants also must have the right to work in Australia and hold a valid driver’s licence with reliable transport.
