Job summary

APM seeks an Employment Consultant for the Bairnsdale VIC site within the Inclusive Employment Australia Program. You will help participants with disability to prepare for, find and sustain meaningful employment, operating within a diverse and supportive team.

You will advocate for inclusive hiring, provide practical solutions to employment barriers, and build partnerships with employers who share our commitment to opportunity and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with disability to secure employment is preferred.
• Ability to build trust with participants to identify suitable employment pathways.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and employers.

Responsibilities

• Find the perfect match—support participants with disability to prepare for, find and maintain sustainable employment.
• Boost confidence by helping participants recognise strengths and overcome obstacles.
• Provide creative solutions to overcome employment challenges and ensure access to tools and support.
