Castle Personnel Services Limited in Lake Haven, NSW is seeking an Employment Consultant (Internal Title: Employment Case Officer) for a full-time position with an hourly rate of AUD 35.83–AUD 37.82. This role focuses on coaching participants to overcome barriers and progress toward sustainable employment.

The Employment Consultant will support goal setting, assist with resumes and job search activities, and connect participants with training, work readiness, and other supports.

Qualifications

• Experience in employment, community, disability, rehabilitation, or similar services.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Motivate and support individuals through challenges.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and administration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support a case load of participants to overcome barriers and build confidence on their pathway to employment.
• Help participants set and achieve meaningful employment goals.
• Guide participants through the early stages of their employment journey and prepare them for success in the workplace.
• Connect participants with training, skills development, and other supports that improve work readiness.
• Assist participants with resumes and cover letters, interview preparation, job search activities, and other employment-related tasks aligned to their employment goals.
• Build positive relationships with employers, training providers, and community partners.
• Maintain accurate participant records and meet program compliance requirements.

What You'll Do

• Support a case load of participants to overcome barriers and build confidence on their pathway to employment

What You'll Bring

• Experience in employment, community, disability, rehabilitation, or similar services

• A passion for helping people achieve their goals and reach their potential
• The ability to motivate, encourage, and support individuals through challenges
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and administration requirements
• Current Driver Licence
• Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Check and Working with Children Check
• Relevant qualification and/or experience in a related field
