Job summary

MatchWorks, part of genU, is recruiting a Business Development Consultant in North Adelaide, SA. You will build relationships with local employers, promoting MatchWorks services and developing sustainable employment opportunities for job seekers within the Workforce Australia program.

You'll work with Employment Coaches, identify suitable employer partnerships, conduct market research, attend networking events and deliver high-quality employer and candidate experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in employment services, recruitment, employer engagement, sales or business development.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Confidence engaging employers and creating opportunities through business development activities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
• Resilience, initiative and a genuine passion for helping people achieve employment goals.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for employer visits and networking.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with local employers to create sustainable employment opportunities.
• Reverse market participants and promote their skills, strengths and potential to employers.
• Partner with Employment Coaches to identify suitable job matches and support positive outcomes.
• Educate employers on inclusive hiring practices and workplace support options.
• Provide ongoing support to employers and participants to encourage long-term employment success.
