Job summary

Central Coast Local Health District is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to provide expert advice across a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters. You will lead significant industrial issues and advocate on behalf of the District before the NSW Industrial Relations Commission, tribunals and other statutory bodies.

• Experience providing high-level ER/IR guidance in a large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments.
• Ability to manage complex and sensitive employee relations matters.
• Credible, influencing partner to senior leaders and unions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level expertise across industrial and employment law matters.
• Advocate before NSW Industrial Relations Commission and tribunals.
• Interpret awards, policies and legislation for the organisation.
• Lead workplace investigations and manage performance and conduct issues.
• Handle complex grievances and disputes with a solutions-focused approach.
• Consult and negotiate with unions and key stakeholders.
• Support organisational change and workforce reform initiatives.
