Job summary

Elliott Gray is seeking an experienced HR professional for a 6-month contract as an Employee Relations and Change Business Partner in Canberra. The role is Canberra-based with hybrid working, paying 85–91 AUD per hour plus 12% super, for a 35-hour week.

You will partner with HR stakeholders to manage employee relations matters including performance management, investigations, grievances, and organisational change initiatives, delivering practical and compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in employee relations and case management.
• Confidence managing performance, conduct, grievances and workplace investigations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Ability to provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice.
• Strong written communication skills in reports, correspondence and recommendations.
• Experience interpreting enterprise agreements, workplace policies and employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR stakeholders and leaders to manage a broad range of employee relations matters.
• Oversee performance management, investigations, conduct and grievances.
• Provide expert advice on change initiatives and organisational transformation.
• Navigate enterprise agreements and policies to achieve compliant outcomes.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership.
