Job summary

Endeavour Foundation is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Partnering team in Brisbane. You will provide trusted advice on a broad range of employee relations matters, supporting leaders through investigations, grievances and performance issues.

You will interpret legislation, manage case portfolios, and contribute to policy development while maintaining confidential, respectful workplace practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' dedicated Employee Relations case management experience within a medium to large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Experience managing a broad range of workplace matters including investigations, grievances, misconduct and performance management.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities while managing a busy case portfolio.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence, coach and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional written skills with the ability to prepare high-quality, accurate documentation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Employment Law or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert advice across a range of employee relations matters including investigations, grievances, workplace investigations and disputes.
  • Coaching and supporting leaders to confidently manage employee relations matters from early intervention through to resolution.
  • Interpreting and applying employment legislation, Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards and organisational policies.
  • Preparing high-quality correspondence including investigation outcomes, performance management documentation and disciplinary letters.
  • Facilitating workplace mediations and supporting fair, practical and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring matters are managed within agreed timeframes.
  • Analysing trends and case data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and proactive people initiatives.
  • Supporting the development of policies, procedures, toolkits and leader resources that strengthen organisational capability.
  • Delivering education, coaching and guidance that builds confidence and capability across the business.

About the Role

Reporting to the Employee Relations Case Manager, you'll partner with leaders across the organisation to provide timely, commercially sound and best-practice employee relations advice.

You'll support leaders through complex workplace matters while helping build leadership capability, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and contributing to a positive, respectful workplace culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

About You

You're an experienced Employee Relations professional who combines strong technical knowledge with sound judgement, empathy and a practical approach to problem solving.

You enjoy partnering with leaders, building trusted relationships and helping people navigate difficult conversations with confidence.

You'll bring:
