Job summary

ONCALL Group Australia is seeking compassionate and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our SIL team, serving the Northern areas of Caboolture, Burpengary and Beachmere. You will provide daily support in a shared home or individual residence, including personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, manual handling, routine management, community access, and household tasks.

Shifts may span a 24/7 roster and vary by client needs.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar Disability Support Worker role, including working in a SIL environment.
Recognised Disability qualifications.
Experience supporting clients with complex needs (e.g., dysphagia, epilepsy, diabetes, stoma care, hoisting).
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Experience supporting clients with different communication needs (sign language a plus).
Positive behaviour support experience.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card.
Current First Aid and CPR training.
Manual Handling and Medication training (RTO).
Registered, insured car and driver’s license.
Good availability and flexibility for a wide range of shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide daily assistance in a shared home or individual residence to support independence.
Deliver personal care and administer medications as required.
Prepare meals and assist with routine activities.
Assist with manual handling and household tasks.
Support community access and social participation.
Roster may include 24/7 shifts and vary by client needs.
