Job summary

Sydney Children's Hospitals Network in Bankstown, NSW, is seeking a Patient Transport Officer for a permanent part-time role (20 hours per week). You will provide safe, timely transport for patients between facilities and operate under emergency driving procedures when required.

Applicants must hold a Full Driver's Licence (minimum C) with a clean driving record and RMS certification, be able to work in a multidisciplinary team, and maintain accurate records in English.

Qualifications

• Current Full Driver's Licence (minimum C) with proven excellent driving record. (RMS certification required).
• Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work under direction and pressure.
• Certificate III Non-Emergency Patient Transport, or guarantee to obtain qualification within twelve months of acceptance.
• Ability to operate a two-way radio/mobile phone equipment.
• Previous experience maintaining vehicles; including fuel, oil, water, coolant and air replenishment.
