Emergency Services Officer Mining Job Perth - Blackham Resources Ltd

Blackham Resources is currently seeking an Emergency Services Officer (ESO).

This position offers:

• Permanent full-time employment
• Negotiable salary based on experience
• 9/5 FIFO roster from Perth

Blackham Resources is an ASX-listed Australian gold producer (ASX: BLK) that owns and operates the Matilda/Wiluna Gold Operation near Wiluna, approximately 1,000 km northeast of Perth.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Collaborating with the ERT team to prevent and manage emergency situations such as fires, chemical hazards, and vehicle/heavy equipment accidents.
• Providing first aid and medical treatment to site personnel around the clock.
• Referring patients to appropriate medical facilities and coordinating ongoing care.
• Supporting the development of emergency response systems to meet AS/NZS 4801 standards.
• Inspecting and auditing emergency equipment and procedures, and addressing corrective actions promptly.
• Promoting safety awareness and controls among management and staff.
• Conducting safety audits and recommending improvements.
• Participating in procedure development and incident investigations.
• Assisting with environmental and personnel hygiene monitoring in surface and underground mines.
