Emergency Registrar (VAC-23336) Tasmania, Australia

We are recruiting an ED Registrar to join an ACEM-accredited Emergency Department in Tasmania. This hospital is also a Workplace-Based Assessment (WBA) site, offering IMGs on limited registration a recognised pathway to General Registration.

Role Highlights

• Registrar-level exposure across trauma, resus, and acute medicine
• Strong consultant supervision and a supportive training environment
• ACEM-accredited for Emergency Medicine training
• WBA accreditation with a 12-month waitlist

Appointment Details

• Fixed-term, part-time shift-worker role
• Additional 10 hours pro rata paid education time
• Structured education day rostered every 4 weeks + self-directed learning
• Commencing 2 February 2026 - 31 January 2027
• Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
• Selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies within 12 months
