Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service – Mareeba QLD is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Mareeba Hospital. The ED provides twenty-four hour service for assessment, treatment, admission, transfer and discharge of patients with emergent to non-urgent conditions.

Your role supports the rural generalist model of care, with a staffing configuration that sustains clinical services across the facility.

Qualifications

• Full patient assessments.
• Direct patient care.
• Triage (with relevant experience).
• Resus (with relevant experience).
• Performing vitals, ECGs, urinalysis and other testing.
