Job summary

SA Health in Port Augusta is seeking an experienced RN/M2A for ongoing full/part-time shifts in the Accident & Emergency department. You will deliver patient‑centred care, participate in rapid assessment and urgent care, and support a multidisciplinary team in a busy ED environment.

The role requires registration with NMBA, 3+ years post‑registration experience, and strong communication skills. A supportive leadership culture and ongoing professional development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible for Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
• At least 3 years post-registration experience.
• Experience guiding students and less experienced registered nurses.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care for patients with urgent healthcare needs.
• Support assessment and management of patients within multidisciplinary teams.
• Guide less experienced staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
