Job summary

Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network in Port Augusta is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Accident & Emergency Department to deliver high-quality care for patients with urgent health needs. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, support assessment and management, and mentor less experienced staff.

The role offers ongoing opportunities, flexible arrangements where possible, and access to professional development, with a base salary range of $90,913 to $114,917 per annum plus locality

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible for Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• At least 3 years post-registration experience in relevant area.
• Ability to provide clinical guidance to students and junior staff.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with urgent healthcare needs.
• Support assessment and management within a multidisciplinary team.
• Guide less experienced staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
